7th - The crew of Presteigne Fire Station are taking on a tough 75 mile charity challenge which includes  25 mile BA Carry Relay, 25 mile rowing relay and 25 mile cycling relay. The event will be taking place from a base in Presteigne's High Street. Support for the crew would be appreciated and business support in the form of a donation to the Fire Fighters Charity would be much appreciated. If you are willing to make a donation you can do so by the following methods... make a cheque payable to Presteigne Fire Station Welfare Fund, take a donation to Presteigne Fire Station on a Thursday evening between 6pm and 9pm, or see us on Saturday 7th in Presteigne High Street. 24th - Spanish boys visit Presteigne. From 24th July to 7th August. Camping near New Radnor and will participate in a range of sporting, outdoor and cultural activities. Local families are invited to host a Spanish boy for a day on 28th July. Details of their activities will be on posters and fliers around Presteigne.
