Lynhales Hall Nursing Home in Herefordshire, set in seven acres of wood and parkland, provides a high standard of nursing care with specially selected and trained staff, excellent en-suite accommodation, carefully prepared food from our 5 Star rated kitchens*, and an extensive range of services - most of which are included within standard fees.

Lynhales is an "Investors in People" organisation which has achieved ISO 9001-2008 accreditation. We also have the Commended Gold Standards Framework in recognition of our end of life care.

The Manor House, now refurbished, was built circa 1588 and extended in the Georgian period. Extensive alterations were made by the Victorian Industrialist "Wildflower Robinson", so named for his love of wildflowers - over 100 species of which are reputed to be founds in the grounds. Examples of ornate decorative carving around the house reflect his interest in nature. The Main Home comprises two floors of single and shared rooms, the majority of which have en-suite facilities, providing accommodation for 47 residents. The John Sperry Memorial Unit is a state of the art Dementia Care Facility, providing accommodation for a further 20 residents.

Nursing care at Lynhales is of the highest standard, with qualified nurses on duty day and night. Assessed as an "Excellent Service Provider" by the Care Quality Commission, we ensure all staff are selected for their experience, kindness and dedication. The aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment, whilst preserving dignity and independence. Care is provided for all types of residents, both long and short term, including day care and convalescing, medical and surgical patients. Weekly physiotherapy, chiropody and hairdressing sessions are available.

Our sister home, Hampton Grange, is situated on the banks of the River Wye approximately 1 mile from the city of Hereford. The Home provides full time, convalescent, residential and end of life care for 42 residents in a homely environment. Planning permission is currently being sought for a new 30 bed reablement unit, with care packages for patients leaving hospital.
